It's Okay to Not Be Okay by Dr. Robyn Richardson

Mental health is not something that applies to a select few. It's not a buzzword or a trend its deeply personal and can affect each of us. Just as our physical health is important so is taking care of our mental health. Acknowledging the hard days is a crucial step toward inner healing.

There is power in naming it. Many people feel ashamed for feeling anxious, depressed, burnt out, or overwhelmed. They might dismiss their feelings, thinking they're "just being dramatic" or "not grateful enough." But mental health doesn't discriminate-it can affect anyone regardless of background or life situation.

Saying "I'm not okay" is not a sign weakness. In fact, it's a powerful act of self-awareness. Naming our struggles gives us the chance to address them. It opens the door to support, whether that's from a therapist, a friend, a support group or even just the decision to rest and slow down and breathe.
